WORKSHOP:
Conjure Creativity presents: The Erotics of Air

Get intimate with the Air element.

Center for PostNatural History
Sunday October 25
4:00 - 6:00pm

>>>Purchase tickets in advance

Drawing from esoteric magical traditions including astrology, Tarot, and witchcraft, in this 2 hour workshop we will discover how Air (in polyamorous relationship with Fire, Earth, Water, and Ether) can be the entryway to alive, embodied, and empowered creative expression.

Infused with the insights of Audre Lorde, Muriel Rukeyser, and Joana Macy, you will be guided through balancing the shadow side of Air: excessive technology mediated experience, living in your head, and left brain linear thinking that gets too much “air time.”

Through mating calls of feathered creatures from The Center for PostNatural History’s collection, bubble gum, windchimes, primal vocal drone, guided breathing, live ASMR, and playful poetry prompts, we will explore how Air holds our grief, fuels our desire, and invites us into sensuous awareness.

Celeste Neuhaus (she/they) is a multimodal artist and witch who constellates magic, ecology, and healing. Through sculpture, painting, assemblage, installation and guided rituals, their art incites transformation by reckoning with the disconnections caused by living within amalgamated systems of necrocapitalism and corresponding biodiversity annihilation. Incorporating alchemy, surrealism, the absurd and the erotic, her work vividly materializes the often subconscious interdependencies in the continuum between the somatic - psychological - political - ecological - cosmological - metaphysical.

Celeste is the originator of Conjure Creativity: one-on-one sessions and group workshops where she guides participants through deeper embodied alignment with their unique creative process. This work is an act of dissent, and an offering of service and devotion to the wildness and mystery that ignite and nourish each individual's life force. 2026 PostNatural Artist in Residence

We are thrilled to announce Celeste Neuhaus (she/they) as our 2026 Artist-In-Residence. Celeste launched a series of performances titled In Observance in the Tonsorium@PostNatural beginning with Licking The Wound on Feb 13, 2026.

Celeste is a multimodal artist and witch who makes devotional offerings through painting, collage, sculpture, installation, performance, video and interactive ritual. Revealing the interdependencies between the somatic, psychological, ecological, and cosmological, her work invites healing and incites transformation.

In Observance
is a 4 part performance series created by Artist In Residence Celeste Neuhaus that serves as magical, ecological and erotic reclamation of the layered meanings underneath one holiday during each of the four seasons of 2026.

Incorporating specimens from the Center For Postnatural History’s collection, and including other contributing artists, In Observance evokes what lies beneath the surface of Valentine’s Day, Easter, The Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving. At the convergence where the post-natural seeps into the overculture’s traditions, each performance event tends to the cosmological roots of what have since largely morphed into rote rituals of consumption. In Observance both honors and resists the conditions of the time we are living in by offering absurdist and surreal rituals of solidarity and celebration.
